The National Relief Charities and its partner, TOMS Shoes will be distributing "high quality new shoes" to our students on Thursday, September 8, 2011. The shoe distribution free and is not open to the public; it is for students of this school only. Parents, relatives, friends, or any other non students are not permitted to receive shoes.
TOMS Shoes and the One for One Movement was started in 2006 with one vision in mind, to make sure every child in need has his or her own pair of shoes. The One for One Movement is simple, for every pair of new shoes purchased one pair of new shoes will be given to a child in need. TOMS is working with the National Relief Charities to make this possible.
Our students come from a variety of social economic situations here at Mission, not all of our students are children in need, but they all reside within the boundaries of a reservation, which qualifies them for this unique opportunity. It is very heart warming to see organizations like TOMS Shoes and the National Relief Charities make a difference in the lives of all our youth.
Thank you for your interest and investment in kids!
