The high school and middle school celebrated the end of the first week of school with individual barbecues at each school. Out of obligatory duty (of course), I ate at both barbecues. Hamburgers, hotdogs, fruit, salads, cookies and a drink later, I had more than enough Mission food.
It's good to see people celebrate over a meal. These type of opportunities are necessary in developing relationships and school spirit. I met a number of students and had the opportunity to get to know them and a little more about St. Ignatius and the people who live here. It was not only good food for the spirit, but went along way in building school spirit. Well done Bulldogs!
